In addition to our general medicine department, Neak Tep Hospital as a patient-centered hospital strongly focuses on a defined group of patients, diseases, skills, and philosophy, where medical specialty is required.


We have a dynamic group of specialist physicians, who are experienced, and highly competent in one or more specific types of medicines including Emergency and Intensive Care, Surgery, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Laboratory Medicine, Physiotherapy, and Pharmacy. They have very specific skills and competencies that make them an integral member of the hospital to pursue our common goal of helping patients to get healthy, and stay healthy.



Our emergency response team is ready to respond to any emergency incident 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. 


The team is composed of ideally trained members designated to save people's lives in medical emergencies such as immediate health problems, traffic accidents, and other health-threatening incidents. They can offer support for on-site lifesaving, health stabilization, patient referral, and complete treatment and care within the hospital ground.


Our emergency room is equipped with complete medical emergency equipment such as Ventilator, ECG Monitor with Defibrillator, Infusion Pumps, and Syringe Drivers, as well as life-sustaining peripherals including laboratory and imaging systems that can provide responsive, accurate diagnosis, and treatments.



Our ICU multidisciplinary team composes of various medical specialists including doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, who work together to treat seriously or critically ill patients who are at risk of or are recovering from life-threatening conditions. 


Our palliative care optimizes quality of life by preventing, treating suffering when curative therapies are futile. The physicians have a high level of competency in various aspects of terminal care, including the practical and ethical aspects of withdrawing different modalities of life-sustaining treatments, and the use of pharmacological and non-pharmacologic approaches to limit the suffering of patients.


The illnesses include but are not limited to dengue shock, malaria and meningitis, and chronic diseases. 






Our operating theatre covers primary and advanced surgical procedures in the area of general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, neurological surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedic surgery, pediatric surgery, and urology for pediatrics and adults.


The most common surgical operations at Neak Tep Hospital are performed for treatment of trauma, wound, burn and abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, thyroid gland and appendix. 


The operations also extend to cesarean sections, as an alternative to a vaginal childbirth deliveries. All surgical instruments are sterile, and it is assured to meet a high level of disinfection and decontamination.


Surgical care takes place after the completion of surgical procedures to ensure non-infection occurs, and patients recover well from their procedures.



We provide care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, and in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive organs. The examination and treatment cover perinatal and postnatal health issues, regular pregnancy check-ups, child deliveries, and all aspects of postnatal advice and consultation.

We focus on treatment of women's health issues such as menopause, hormone problems, contraception, and infertility. The gynecological services offer general gynecological health check-ups, diagnosis, and treatment, gynecological procedures, women’s health preventative advice, and consultation.

Our child delivery package is comprehensive, and covers the most common types of deliveries both natural and assisted deliveries. In case of assisted delivery is required, our obstetricians are qualified and can effectively handle medical procedures of episiotomy, amniotomy, induced labor, fatal monitoring, forceps delivery, vacuum extraction and cesarean section. The delivery is highly secured and safe without harmful pain, and we are thrilled to see your loving smiles of welcoming a new little member of the family.



Our pediatrics department is in charge of the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. 

Our pediatricians provide treatment and medical care in the area of pediatric cardiology, neonatology, critical care, neurology, development delays, primary care, chronic asthma, and others.


We have designated equipment and materials suitable for young patients such as paediatric ventilator and respiratory support devices, baby warmer and neonatal incubator, which can save lives in an emergency.



We provide consultation and treatment of various heart diseases for pediatrics and adults. 

The illnesses range from high blood pressure to valve disease and congenital heart conditions. 


This medical department is equipped with necessary cardiac care equipment including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and cardiac ultrasound machines that help ensure effective care of cardiac diseases. 



We provide care of diseases related to skin, hair, and nails, and some cosmetic problems. Our specialist doctor deals with both medical and surgical aspects for people of all ages, from new-borns to seniors.


Skin diseases include but are not limited to eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, ichthyosis, vitiligo, hives, and seborrheic dermatitis. It also extends to genetic illnesses, health conditions, or infections that cause your skin to react in unusual ways.



We provide consultation and treatment of various genitourinary disorders  conditions, such as urinary-tract infections and benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder, kidney, ureteral stone obstruction. We provide new modern machines endoscope to remove the obstruction stone in the urinary tract system without surgery and painless.




This department has the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine.


Our anaesthesiologists understand the use of anesthesia and anesthetics to safely support a patient's vital functions through the perioperative period. They use various injected and inhaled medications to produce a loss of sensation in patients, making it possible for our surgeons to carry out procedures that would otherwise cause intolerable pain or be technically unfeasible in our operating theater. 



Located in the basement of the hospital building, the physiotherapy department provides privacy to its patients in a cool and quiet ambiance. The development provides a comprehensive scope of services which include: Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Paediatric Neuro Rehabilitation, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Chest Physiotherapy, Splint Making, Manual Therapy, Burns Management, Pressure Garment Fitting.

Cleft lips and palates are birth defects that result when facial structures do not develop properly in an unborn baby or during pregnancy.


Patients with cleft lips and palates will be provided corrective surgery free of charge at Neak Tep Hospital. The fund is supported by Smile Train, a non-profit organization and charity providing corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.


In addition, if patients have health equity cards provided by the Cambodian government, they also receive financial support for transportation fees and food allowances. This support extends to a maximum of two days of hospitalization.


The surgery is performed by a highly skilled Dr. Sar Vuthy, who is a member of our founders and one of the most well-recognized surgeons in the country.



Our pharmacy is responsible for issuing medication to patients following the prescription of the physician and handling specialty drugs. 


Our pharmacists are qualified and have knowledge of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility, and toxicity. Their job involves issuing medication and educating patients about side effects and the correct use of medicines. They take care of routine antibiotics and new generation antibiotics for drug-resistant bacteria, anesthesia medications, and analgesic and specialty medication for neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and pulmonary medicine.



Our Laboratory works to identify and perform analysis of laboratory tests in clinical trials and ensure the test results meet the highest standards. It carries out clinical specimens to obtain information about the health of a patient to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.


The tests include but are not limited to the electrolyte, blood counts, blood culture, international standard blood typing and cross-matching, iron studies, HIV testing, and other full range of laboratory tests.


This department also has diagnostic imaging, basic and advanced immunization.



X-ray, ECG, General ultrasound, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound, and Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound.



BCG, Hepatitis B, Polio Rouvax, DPT, MMR, Rabies, H5N1, HPV
